WHO WE ARE
SYB Builders is a commercial general contractor based in Canton, Texas. We specialize in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and commercial remodeling — serving clients across Texas and Oklahoma with hands-on project management from design through final inspection.

Our team of superintendents and project managers oversee all aspects of every project — from design, plan submittals, and city permitting to the procurement of materials and scheduling contractors all the way to the final walk-thru. Owner & General Contractor
Rick founded SYB Builders with a straightforward mission: simplify the commercial construction process for clients who need a contractor they can trust to finish on time and on budget. Based in Canton, Texas, he brings decades of hands-on construction experience to every project.
As a licensed general contractor, Rick personally oversees project management across all SYB Builders engagements — from initial design consultation and city permitting through procurement, construction, and final walkthrough. His approach centers on clear communication, professional execution, and building lasting relationships with clients.
Under Rick's leadership, SYB Builders has completed projects ranging from 6,400 sq ft shop expansions to 15-acre multi-building dealership complexes — consistently delivering quality commercial construction across East Texas and beyond.
