Satellite Shelters
A new 12,000 sq ft service building was constructed for Satellite Shelters, including utility upgrades, parking improvements, and support facilities for office trailer servicing. The project featured (8) 16” roll-up doors, a 20’ canopy, fenced parking with an automatic gate, and extensive site work. An additional 18,400 sq ft of concrete was later added around the building to handle heavy-duty usage.
The Satellite Shelters project included the ground-up construction of a new service building and parking lot to support the servicing and storage of portable office trailers. Site prep began with excavation and paving for an asphalt drive, along with a fenced parking area featuring striping and an automatic gate. Utility upgrades included installation of electricity, two commercial-grade septic systems, and a 560’ deep well. A new 12,000 sq ft building was constructed for technician and service bay operations, featuring (8) 16” roll-up doors and a 20’ canopy for covered storage. A concrete apron was poured around the building to provide drive-up trailer access, and facilities included a technician’s locker room, break room, restrooms, and second-story mechanical rooms above tool storage. After the initial build was complete, an additional 18,400 sq ft of concrete was added around the structure to accommodate heavy-duty vehicle traffic. The design ensured long-term durability, safe operations, and optimized trailer servicing flow. Fencing and gate features enhanced on-site security while utility infrastructure improvements future-proofed the site. The completed facility significantly expanded service capabilities and operational efficiency for trailer repair and maintenance.
