Rush Truck Center Houston Med Duty Remodel, Canopies, & Concrete project occurred in three major phases. Initially, SYB Builders brought the newly acquired building up to code, followed by a complete remodel of the interior, including new roofing, gutter repairs, walls, fixtures, AC ducting, flooring, and custom-built cabinetry and desks. The showroom, restrooms, and both floors of office space were fully renovated. In the Service Bay area, overhead doors were expanded from 10' to 14', new air lines and compressors were installed, and lighting and electrical systems were upgraded. LED lighting was installed throughout bays and warehouse areas. Parking lot work included bumper replacements, new bollards, striping, and removal of an old fueling station and tanks. In 2020, two 20'x94' canopies were installed at the service bays to expand workspace for technicians. The parking lot was further upgraded with 6” concrete drive entrances for semi-trucks and stabilization of 86,000 sq ft of gravel. In 2023, the second floor was once again remodeled to develop a new training center complete with conference rooms, restrooms, and a new HVAC system. These improvements brought modernized operational functionality, long-term durability, and enhanced technician support spaces. Each phase was strategically timed to limit business disruptions while maximizing infrastructure and safety upgrades.
