Rush Truck Center Houston Med Duty underwent a multi-phase remodel covering the entire facility, starting with bringing the building up to code for occupancy. The renovation included roof and gutter repairs, and a full interior upgrade of first and second-floor offices, showrooms, and restrooms with new walls, fixtures, AC ducting, flooring, doors, and custom cabinetry. In the Service Bay area, overhead doors were expanded from 10' to 14' wide, with new air lines, air compressors, and electrical updates for equipment. LED lighting was installed throughout all bays and warehouse spaces. Extensive repairs were made to the concrete parking lot, including installation of new bollards, bumpers, striping, and removal of an old fueling station. Two 20'x94' canopies were added to the service bays to provide covered technician workspace. Concrete drive entrances for semi-trucks were repoured, and an 86,000 sq ft gravel parking area was stabilized for durability and performance. The second-floor offices were later remodeled again to create a dedicated training center with new conference rooms, restrooms, and HVAC systems. These renovations enhanced operational efficiency, safety, and long-term functionality. The site was transformed into a modernized, multi-use facility supporting technician training, vehicle servicing, and administrative operations.
